Our Custom Solutions

Design and Engineering

Finite Element Analysis

Designs can be evaluated and validated with numerical simulations to ensure required level of performance before production. The most commonly utilized studies are linear static analysis, steady-state heat transfer, thermal stress and fatigue analysis.

These simulations help us validate designs before production, identify potential issues, and optimize performance. This rigorous evaluation process ensures that each product not only meets but exceeds required performance standards, providing our clients with robust and dependable solutions.

Component Sourcing and Manufacturing

Wherever possible, we always strive to use COTS (commercial off the shelf) components. However, whenever custom parts need to be manufactured we turn to our extensive and trusted network of suppliers and machine shops to make the required components. We routinely have to produce components which require: CNC machining, Laser and wire EDM cutting, surface finishing (anodizing, metal plating, electropolishing, etc), TIG, resistance spot and micro-TIG welding. We specialize in working with refractory metals (Ta, Mo, Wand others) and ceramics (Alumina, PBN, AlN, SiC, others).

Assembly and Testing

Our experienced technicians carefully assemble each component, ensuring that every part fits together perfectly and functions as intended. We then subject the assembled systems to a series of comprehensive tests to verify their performance against the design specifications. These tests include vacuum integrity checks, operational performance assessments, and stress tests under various conditions to ensure durability and reliability.

By simulating real-world operating environments, we can identify and resolve any potential issues before delivery. Our commitment to quality assurance means that every system we deliver is ready to perform at the highest level from day one. This thorough process ensures that our customers receive products that are not only fully functional but also optimized for their specific applications.

Manual Writing and Final Delivery

All of our products come with an operation manual and a warranty. Each product comes with a detailed operation manual that includes step-by-step instructions, safety guidelines, and troubleshooting tips. Our manuals are written clearly and concisely, making it easy for users to understand and follow.

Upon final delivery, we ensure that every system is thoroughly inspected and meets our high-quality standards. We also provide an orientation session, either in person or virtually, to familiarize customers with their new equipment. Additionally, our products come with a warranty, offering peace of mind and assurance of our commitment to quality and reliability.

HV and UHV System Design

Custom chambers made from Stainless Steel, Aluminum and Titanium. Pumping capacity and conductance calculations to achieve desired base pressure and gas throughput performance. Deep understanding of instrumentation used to measure and maintain a required vacuum level.

HV and UHV Magnetotransport

Cryostats (open and closed-cycle), sample holders, AC and DC measurement systems.

    Thin Film Deposition

    Molecular Beam Epitaxy, Pulsed Laser Deposition. Deposition stages and manipulator, effusion cells and UHV heaters for different operating environments (oxygen, nitrogen, UHV).

    Motion and System Automation

    From single axis motorization to complex (20+ axes!) fully-automated systems. Motion systems for operating both inside (precision positioning stages) and outside (sample transfer systems) UHV environment. PLC control and interlocked safety systems. PC control software (developed in LabVIEW).
